An ubu (original-length), signed tanto by Hiromitsu of Musashi province from the mid-Edo period (Genroku era). The blade features a finely packed ko-itame jigane and a broad ō-notare hamon with sunagashi and kinsuji, preserved in near-flawless condition. It comes as a luxurious set with two interchangeable period aikuchi koshirae.
