Description

This Katana is attributed to the 2nd generation Ietada, a representative master of the Kaga Darani school, made in 1663. It features a shallow sori and high shinogi, with a ko-itame hada and round gunome hamon. The blade is noted for its exceptional sharpness, having been tested in 1692 and used to cut three bodies in 1694.
