Description

This kozuka features a design from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, depicting two figures, likely Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, carved in sukidashi takabori with bold chisel work. The figures' faces, naginata, and clothing are adorned with gold, silver, and copper iroe. Masanori was an artisan from Bushu who was active during the late Edo period.
