Description

This is a katana by Fujiwara Hisayuki, a renowned smith from the Takada school in Bungo province, active since the Meio era (1492) of the Muromachi period. It features a gold inlay cutting test inscription by Yamano Kantaro Nagatsugu, indicating a three-body cut. The blade comes with both a shirasaya and a period koshirae, and is certified Hozon Token by the NBTHK.
