Description

This antique Japanese sword is a Naginata Naoshi Katana attributed to the Hojyu school, active in Mutsu province during the late Kamakura to Nanbokucho period (early-late 14th century). It comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, confirming its authenticity and high quality. The blade features a cutting edge length of 77.4 cm and a curvature of 2.2 cm, and was originally a Naginata that was later shortened into a Katana.
