Description

This antique Japanese katana is signed by Shinano Kami Minamoto Nobuyoshi, an esteemed smith active in Yamashiro province during the early Edo period (1644-1673). The blade features Nanban Tetsu steel and was granted permission to bear the imperial chrysanthemum emblem, signifying exceptional craftsmanship. It comes with a decorative koshirae, including a Fuchi-Kashira with kingfisher motif and a Tsuba with paulownia leaves, and is accompanied by an NBTHK Hozon Certificate.
