This antique Japanese katana is signed by Kazusa no Kami Fujiwara Munemichi, believed to be the first generation smith active during the early Edo period (mid-late 17th century). He belonged to the Echizen Shimosaka School and received the honorable title of Kazusa no Kami for his craftsmanship. The blade comes with a Koshirae mounting and an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, confirming its authenticity and high artistic value.
