Description

This is an unsigned Shinto wakizashi, believed to have been made around the Kanbun era of the early Edo period. The blade features a flowing itame-hada mixed with masame and a gunome hamon, presented in generally good condition. It comes with a bamboo shikomi-saya koshirae, which appears as an ordinary bamboo cane, and is noted for its rarity as the blade's curvature has not been altered.
