This sword light weight and good balance so perfect for Iai-do. 「体配 style」 鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、腰反りで中鋒。茎は生で鑢目は切、茎尻は栗尻。 「彫物 carving」 片チリの棒樋が、ハバキ下に掻き流しとなる。 「地鉄 jigane」 板目肌流れ心と成り、杢目を交え、映り立つ。 「刃紋 hamon」 波頭のような逆丁子に、波飛沫のような飛び焼きを焼き、足入り、銀筋走り、刃中葉を見せる。帽子は刃紋成りに入り小丸に返る。 「特徴 detailed」 肥前住心改、本名は井上久、佐賀県東松浦郡肥前町にて鍛刀していた刀工で、銘を肥前國忠寿とも切る、師は父の白竜子忠孝です。 あるサイトでは肥前國忠寿は心改銘の物が良く斬れると書かれています、隠れた業物です。 本作、重量も軽くバランスが良いため居合に最適です。 「拵 Koshirae」 ハバキ(habaki) :素銅地一重の腰祐乗。 鍔(tsuba) :鉄地紅葉透かし。 縁頭(futikasira):鉄地紅葉の図。 目貫(menuki) :雉の図。 柄(tsuka) :柄巻きは正絹納戸色の諸捻み巻き。 鞘(saya) :暗朱艶。 「刀剣の状態 condition of blade」 研:古研ぎですが、概ね良好です。 傷:欠点に成るような傷は有りません。
