This is a tanto made by Mukansa swordsmith Yoshihiro (Seto Yoshihiro) during his early years in Ishikawa Prefecture. It showcases the Soshu-den style inherited from his master, swordsmith Sumitani Masamine. The blade features a hamon of gunome midare with fine nie and kinsuji.
