This is a modern katana made by Akamatsu Taro Kanemitsu from Higo province. The blade measures 74.2cm in length and comes with a koshirae. The sword is described as being in excellent condition and suitable for both appreciation and test cutting, though it has not been used for either Iaido or test cutting.
