Description

This is a tsuba by Inoue Kiyotaka, a master craftsman from the Choshu domain, dating to the late Edo period. It features a detailed sukidashi and sukisage carving of a Watai Sennin (immortal crossing the sea) on the front, with a tranquil landscape on the reverse. The tsuba is made of thick, lustrous iron and comes with an NBTHK Hozon certificate.
