This is a katana made by Yamagami Akihisa in the modern era (Heisei 7). The blade is in beautiful condition, appearing to be freshly polished, and features a medium straight hamon with fine itame hada mixed with mokume. It comes with a recently made koshirae using modern fittings and an antique tsuba, making it suitable for both appreciation and practical use.
