This is a katana made by Masayuki, a swordsmith who served as the director of the Ritsumeikan Japanese Sword Forging Institute. Masayuki was ranked as Yokozuna in the modern swordsmith ranking by Hikozaburo Kuriyama in 1942. The blade is polished and in good condition, with a beautiful hamon.
