This is a katana by Masayuki, a highly regarded swordsmith who was ranked as Yokozuna (highest rank) and was a teacher of the Living National Treasure Sumitani Masamine. The blade measures 69.6cm and comes with a koshirae, making it suitable for both appreciation and iai practice. It also includes a 98-style military sword koshirae and a newly made shirasaya.
