Description

This is a tanto by Masaaki, a copy of the famous Hocho Masamune. It features a goma-bashi sukashi with tsume engraving and a wide blade. The hamon is shallow with irregular patterns, and the ji-gane is carefully forged with itame hada and thick ji-nie.
