Description

This is a kogatana (small knife) made by Hirokuni in August of Heisei Tsuchinoe-Ne year (2008). The smith's real name is Hiroki Junichi, and he was born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1948. He initially studied under his father, Hiroki Kunihiro, and later became a student of Sumitani Masamine. He passed away in 2013 at the age of 65.
