Yokoyama Sukenao祐直
This is a yari (spear) made by Sukenao and his son Suketsune, from the Osafune school in Bizen province, dating to the late Edo period (Tenpo 10, 1839). Sukenao was a prominent smith of the Yokoyama school. The yari comes with a koshirae, though the tsuka (handle) is a modern production. It is certified as Hozon Token by the NBTHK.
