It measures 7 x 7.5 x 0.5 cm and depicts a village scene reminiscent of Kaneiye's work, with a particularly ornate mimi. The tsuba was once part of a museum collection and is published in 'Tsubas in Southern California' by Hawley.

Its expert panels physically examine each submitted work (shinsa) and issue a certificate (kanteishō) ranking it by artistic and historical merit.
