Description

This is a tsuka (sword handle) featuring a gold-brown morozukami wrap and cloisonne enamel decoration. It is attributed as mumei (unsigned) and has received Tokubetsu Hozon certification from the NBTHK. The fuchi-kashira are decorated with a arabesque pattern, and the menuki depict foxes. The tsuka dates to the Edo period.
