Norizane's real name is Miyagi Masatoshi, born on July 9, 1960, and resides in Obata, Shiroishi City, Miyagi Prefecture. He studied under his father, swordsmith Miyagi Akimori, and is a member of the Miyairi Ichimonkai. He has won numerous awards at the New Swords Exhibition, including two Excellence Awards and two Effort Awards.
