Description

(Mei) Naoaki, Soryu Sukashi Tsuba, Hozon Tosogu Tate × Yoko: 8.5cm × 8.4cm Atsusa: 0.4cm The shape is octagonal with a sukinokoshi-mimi that is slightly thicker than the ji. The ji is tetsu-ji and is in clean condition with no kizu or damage. Around the hitsu-ana on both sides, clouds are expressed through kin-zogan and sukidashi-bori, and from there, a design of dragons is depicted above and below in ko-sukashi. While there are many works featuring dragon designs, the somewhat unusual appearance of these gives a unique and charming impression.
