This wakizashi is signed Kanetomo from the Seki school, active during the late Muromachi period (around Daiei era). Kanetomo was a prominent smith of the San'ami-ha within the Seki Seven Schools. The blade features a flowing itame hada with masame, and a hamon characteristic of Mino works.
