Description

Fuchi kashira featuring Fujimi Saigyo design, made by Shokyokusai in the late Edo period. The fittings are made of shakudo with high relief carving, inlay, and colored enamel. The kashira measures 3.37cm, the fuchi measures 3.7cm, and the height of the fuchi is 1.09cm. These fittings were made for a koshirae commissioned by a person named Sugitani.
