This is a katana by Kawachi no Kami Minamoto Kunihide from Izumo province, dating to the early Edo period (circa 1673). The blade features a gunome midare hamon and itame jigane, reminiscent of Osaka Shinto swords. The sword comes with a koshirae featuring a tea-colored saya with black lines, a large same, and fittings with a Tatsutagawa maple leaf and moon motif. It has a Hozon certificate from the NBTHK.
