This katana was crafted by the second-generation Masahiro from Hizenkoku during the Early Edo period (1658-1673). Masahiro's family was a prominent sword-making lineage in the Hizen region, known for their high-quality blades produced under the patronage of the Nabeshima clan. The blade features a chu-suguha hamon and ko-itame hada, showcasing the craftsmanship of the Hizen school.
