This is a rare Ryoshinogi-zukuri yari by Tenryushi Fujiwara Masataka. While the jigane and hamon are not clear due to its old polish, it is a healthy yari with no polish wear. The accompanying koshirae is from the late Edo period and is in good condition. Tenryushi Fujiwara Masataka was the grandson of the famous late Edo period smith Ozaki Suketaka, and many of his masterpieces remain today.
