This katana is made by Kanemune from Gifu, dating to the early Showa period. It features a small ITAME-hada with some MASAME, JINIE, and SHIROUTSURI. The HAMON is TOGARI-GUNOME-MIDARE with KINSEN and SUNAGASHI, appearing bright and clear. The blade has BO-HI carvings on both sides and comes with a red ISHIME-nuri UCHIGATANA KOSHIRAE.

We could not find an authenticity certificate on the seller’s listing. Japanese swords and fittings are normally papered by the NBTHK (or the NTHK). Without one, the attribution is the seller’s own assessment and has not been independently verified — treat it with caution and ask the dealer about certification before buying.
