Description

This is a fine iron tsuba featuring a clematis design, attributed to Shoami Masanori. The petals are rendered in high-relief shakudo, with delicate gold inlay on the flower centers, creating an elegant and vibrant appearance. The intricate vine work and detailed leaf veins contrast beautifully with the subtle hammered iron ground, showcasing the excellent aesthetic sense and advanced metalworking techniques of the Shoami school.
