This is a Yari (spearhead) signed by Kanesaki, who resided in Tsuyama, Mimasaka province during the middle of the Edo period. It features a gunome temper and ko itame lamination, dating to approximately 1688 (Shinto Era). The piece comes with an old certificate from Mitsuo Shibata, a Tokyo sword dealer, dated 1983.
