Description

This is an unsigned tanto with a length of 21.6cm and a sori of 0.3cm. The blade has a beautiful jigane with a unique appearance of mokume and masakawa-hada. It is thought to be from the mid-Edo period and was likely made as a yoroidoshi due to its thick kasane.
