This is a Kanmuriotoshi style kogatana by Yoshindo (Yoshihara Yoshindo), a Mukansa swordsmith. Born in 1943, he is a disciple of his grandfather Yoshihara Kuniie and has received numerous awards at the New Masterpiece Sword Exhibition. Yoshindo is known for his elegant Juka Choji hamon, reminiscent of Kamakura period Bizen Ichimonji works, and has contributed significantly to the revival of the Bizen tradition.
