Description

This is a Hirazukuri tanto made in the early Edo period. It features a wide and powerful katana-bi on both sides, and the blade is surprisingly light at only 96 grams. The hada is a refined ko-itame with mokume, and the hamon is a beautiful wavy pattern with kinsuji and sunagashi.
