Description

This is a set of fuchi-kashira, unsigned but attributed to the Yanagawa school. Crafted during the Edo period, they feature a shishido (lion) design in sukidashi takabori (raised carving) on a shakudo nanako (fish-roe ground) base, with gold iroe (coloration). The set comes with a Hozon Tosogu certificate and a Kiribako (paulownia wood box).
