Description

This is a wakizashi made by Hatakeyama-yamatonosuke Minamoto Masamitsu in Osaka (Settsu province) during the late Edo period (circa 1831). The blade has a length of 40cm and features a beautiful sugata with a well-defined mihaba and kasane. The hamon is a bright and clear gunome-midare with tobiyaki, and the blade is certified as Hozon Token by the NBTHK.
