This is a katana made by Kotani Yasunori, a Yasukuni Shrine smith, in Showa 18 (1943). The blade features a shinogi zukuri sugata, ko-gunome hamon with ashi, and a ko-maru boshi. Yasunori was a highly regarded smith who won many prizes at the shrine.
