This katana is mumei (unsigned) and comes with an uchigatana koshirae. It is believed to have been shortened from a longer tachi and is attributed to Masamori by the Kurashiki Sword Museum. The blade exhibits a mix of Soshu-den hada and Bizen-den chojimidare characteristics and is estimated to be from the late Edo period.
