This katana is made by Tango No Kami Naomichi of the Mishina school, active in Kyoto during the early Edo period. The blade features a Sudareba hamon and is signed with the smith's name and a statement that it was made in Settsu using Western-made iron. It comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificate and is mounted in both uchigatana koshirae and shirasaya.
