Description

This is a fuchi-kashira set made of shakudo nanako, featuring a historical scene with Genta Kagesue and Sasaki Takatsuna racing across the Uji River. The design is chiselled in relief and inlaid with gold and other metals. Dating from the Edo Period, this set is suitable for both katana and wakizashi.
