Description

This is an antique katana made by the smith Kuninaga in Mino province during the Muromachi era. The blade is registered as a Hozon (Preservation) sword by the NBTHK and features a Gunome wave tempered line pattern. It comes in ornate mountings with a detailed openwork Tsuba guard and a wooden sword holder.
