説明

圀倫(くにとも)は、江戸後期文政頃に弘前藩で活躍した刀工で、弘前住圀倫、藤原圀倫などと銘を切る。この刀は、美しい柾目肌に、地沸が微塵に厚くつき、地景頻りに入り、黒みがかった精良な地鉄に、湯走りが明るく輝き、直刃調に、食い違い刃掛り、金筋幾重にも長く頻りに掛る見事な保昌写しの傑作である。
