This is a modern iaido sword by the renowned Seki master Kanehiro, known for his eight selections in the New Sword Competition. It is lightweight, exceptionally well-balanced, and features a deep groove that produces a pleasant tachikaze sound. The koshirae, believed to be made by Mino Kuma, is also lightweight and includes bakelite reinforcement on the saya, making it suitable for immediate use, even for women practicing iaido.
