He is a swordsmith of peak popularity, valued even more highly than his elder brother *Shinano no Kami Nobuyoshi* in Kyoto. This *wakizashi* displays the *Kanbun Shinto wakizashi-sugata*, similar to the works of *Kotetsu* in Edo, characterized by a difference between the *moto-mihaba* and *saki-mihaba* with shallow *sori*. The *jigane* is forged in *ko-itame hada*, revealing a strong and bright steel. The *hamon* is in *nioi-deki* with *ko-nie*, featuring a relaxed *Osaka yakidashi* leading into a bright and gorgeous *gunome-ba* with many *kinsuji* appearing within the blade, which is truly magnificent.
